Ashtanga Yoga Retreat from 2nd – 8th September 2018 with Marco Aicardi

Marco Aicardi, Ashtanga YogaMarco learned about meditation and the practice of Yoga more than 10 years ago, while traveling in India.
For a number of years he has tried different techniques and lineages, both in Europe and India, until he discovered the Ashtanga Vinyasa system. Since then he travels every year to India, to Mysore, Udupi, and Rishikesh, to deepen his knowledge not only of Asanas (postures) but also of the philosophy and the whole world of Yoga.

During the winter months he teaches regularly in Gokarna, Karnataka State, and during the summer he travels around Europe giving workshops and retreats.

Her teaching combines adherence to the traditional Ashtanga method with the flexibility to customize the practice to the needs and level of each individual student, supporting physical practice with patience, hands-on adjustments and knowledge of the mechanics of the human body.

Yoga retreat from 2 to 8 September 2018 by Marco Aicardi.

Six days of intense practice to reconnect with your body, your breath, your mind and your being.

Who is this retreat for? Is it for you?

This retreat is both for the experienced practitioner of (Ashtanga) Yoga, and for those who are just beginning to discover it.

For all those who wish to deepen their knowledge of asanas or simply for those who want to disconnect from their daily life in a beautiful and protected environment. We hope that each person will find in this retreat what she needs, which is not always what she wants (teacher’s note*).

Each morning there will be an asana class (guided or with the Mysore method), and in the afternoons workshops to explore different aspects of the practice, such as alignment, the Vinyasa system, breathing and pranayama, and in the evening a brief guided meditation to round off the day.
